Lone Wolf Distributors saw a weakness with the extractor found on factory Glock handguns. This part, made using metal-injection molding, didn't meet the durability and reliability expectations of the company, so they developed the new AlphaWolf LCI stainless-steel Glock extractor in order to improve Glock pistols.

Unlike the Glock factory extractor, the AlphaWolf extractor is machined completely from 17-4 stainless steel and features a high-polish finish that reduces friction and provides improved reliability. In addition, the included loaded-chamber indicator provides a visual indication of a loaded gun.

One of the issues with the Glock factory extractor is that the part could break if the slide ever dropped on a loaded chamber even once. In order to test the reliability of the Lone Wolf AlphaWolf extractor, the company loaded a Glock pistol chamber and dropped the slide on the chambered round more than 1,000 times. According to the company, even after that treatment, the original extractor used for the test still functions as it should.

The high-polish finish found on the new extractor ensures that users won't find any issue with extraction. The finish on the extractor ensures that Glock pistols experience smoother extraction, improved lubricity and less friction during operation. This ensures that the function and reliability of the gun are improved through this simple part swap.

Other aftermarket Glock extractors are constructed from solid steel to improve durability, but the Lone Wolf AlphaWolf extractor is the only option on the market that features the high-polish finish that makes the system run more reliably with less friction, according to the company.

The Lone Wolf AlphaWolf LCI stainless-steel Glock Extractor fits Glock G17, G18, G19, G25, G26, G28 and G34 models in both Gen 3 and Gen 4 configurations. The extractor will not fit the Glock G42 or G43 pistol and the company warns that those upgrading the part from an extractor that does not feature a loaded-chamber indicator will need to replace the spring-loaded bearing.

The suggested retail price on the Lone Wolf AlphaWolf Glock Extractor is $39.95.
