Grayboe announced the launch of its new Terrain rifle stock, which provides rifle owners with a precision-made design with simple, traditional features for the utmost in field performance.

The Grayboe Terrain stock is optimized for intuitive pointing and is designed for use in hunting and range applications. The stock is constructed using a fiberglass compound, like many of the company's other designs.

The fiberglass is formed in a mold using high levels of eat and pressure, which produces a rifle stock with the ability to withstand a tremendous amount of punishment and environmental conditions. After construction is finished, the stock weighs in at 2 pounds, 4 ounces.

Some of the features of the new stock include a vertical-style grip, an elevated comb designed to put a shooter's eye in line with mounted optics and a forend built with ergonomics and different shooting styles in mind.

The stock also features flush-cup sling mounts, along with two sling studs located on the forend, allowing users to mount both a sling and a bipod at the same time. If users so desire, the studs can be swapped out for a Picatinny rail that allows for easy accessory mounting.

The Grayboe Terrain stock comes in a number of different color configurations. The company features a standard color line that includes solid black, khaki, gray and olive colors. For companies purchasing volume orders of stocks, Grayboe will also make specialized options available, such as spider-web finishes or other dips. For individuals, the fiberglass construction of the stock makes it possible for users to apply a custom Cerakote finish that will add a unique look while remaining durable.

The Terrain Stock is available for Remington 700 long-action and short-action BDL and DBM rifles, equipped with either sporter or magnum barrels. The suggested retail price on the new stock is $339.
