Ed Brown Products, Inc. is adding the new Fueled Series to their line of custom pistols, which are based on popular handgun platforms. The first modified gun in the Fueled Series is based on the Smith & Wesson M&P M2.0 line of guns.

For more than 50 years, Ed Brown set a standard with its lineup of high-quality 1911 parts and handguns. The company's drive to improve has led them to take advantage of modern technology in building high-performance parts for the 1911. With the Fueled Series, Ed Brown Products is now applying this same philosophy to other handgun platforms. This begins with a platform like the Smith & Wesson® M&P 2.0 that has been fully tested and found to have a good foundation of ergonomics, reliability and overall performance.

Sales and Marketing Director John May said, “Now you can look to Ed Brown for more than just 1911s. With the addition of the Fueled Series, we are offering other popular handgun platforms, fully customized for the best possible accuracy and reliability. As we have for over 50 years, we’re continuing to break new ground in the custom handgun market. If you haven’t looked at Ed Brown in a while, it is time to look again.”

To build one of Ed Brown's Fueled Series of guns, a Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0 pistol is broken down to its foundation and completely overhauled. A custom accuracy rail is added to improve barrel lockup and accuracy and achieve an exceptional fit. Next is a fully machined custom slide, with custom cuts for a striking appearance. A 416 stainless, button rifled match barrel is added that is customized with Ed Brown tread flutes. The barrel includes 1/2-28 TPI threads and a custom thread protector, allowing the pistol to be fully suppressor ready.

A re-designed and re-engineered custom extractor mates perfectly to the custom slide, ensuring the best reliability possible. Finishing off the pistol is custom sights, trigger, a 360-degree magwell paired with machined base pads, machined frame pins, and an aluminum backplate with custom serrations. Like all other Ed Brown custom handguns, the Fueled Series is fitted by hand one at a time with the same focus and care as they’ve been doing for more than 50 years.
