When Magpul introduced the third generation of PMags, it was available, in the words of Henry Ford in "any color you want, as long as it's black." After the many colors of the Gen2 PMags it caught folks off guard, as the company had produced magazines to match several of its popular color schemes.

Earlier this year that all changed when Magpul introduced the sand PMags. The light coloration contrasts with the extant black, but also provides a platform that allows the magazine to be dyed nearly any color possible, as the company's display at SHOT Show in January proved.

Regardless of color or color scheme chosen, the magazines offer Magpul's proven reliability and durability. Magazines ship with a dustcover, stainless steel spring, anti-tilt follower and a redesigned bolt catch notch. Molded into the bottom of the magazine is a matrix for marking magazines with a paint pen, useful when dealing with multiple magazines for determining any that might need maintenance.

MSRP: $14.95 (solid), $17.95 (window). Available in black or sand.
