Federal Premium Ammunition has paired a proven self-defense round trusted by law enforcement with one of the most popular training rounds to create a combination like no other. The new Practice & Defend Packs from Federal include 50 rounds of HST Personal Defense loads and 50 rounds of Syntech Training Match ammunition to maximize your training time at the range.

The two loads in these 100-count combo packs produce identical velocities, trajectories and point-of-impact for realistic training and reliable defensive performance. A Federal Premium Practice & Defend pack gives two ammunition types, each with a specific purpose, in one package. Syntech Training Match for practice and training, and the HST round for everyday defensive carry.

Federal Premium Practice & Defend Packs Features:

  • Syntech Training Match ammo that is ballistically matched to corresponding HST defensive load, giving you more confidence that your training will prepare you for a defensive encounter
  • The Total Synthetic Jacket on the Syntech Training Match ammunition prevents metal fouling, reduces barrel heat and friction and minimizes splash-back against hard targets
  • Federal HST defensive ammunition expands reliably through a variety of barriers and penetrates to ideal depths for self-defense situations

Practice & Defend Packs Include:

9 mm Luger 124-grain: 50 rounds each of HST and Syntech Training Match with 1,150 fps muzzle velocity, MSRP of  $60.99.
9 mm Luger 147-grain: 50 rounds each of  HST and Syntech Training Match with 1,000 fps muzzle velocity and an MSRP of $60.99.
