Portland, Oregon-based optics accessories company Warne introduced a new line of scope mounts at SHOT Show 2020. Called the Vapor, this new line consists of 1-inch and 30 mm rings in three heights, two-piece Weaver-style bases to fit most popular rifles, and MSR mounts in both zero and 20 MOA.

"The Vapor Line of mounts and bases is the culmination of 28 years of expertise in designing and manufacturing world-class products. I am confident our ability to offer a more affordable product line that is still made in the USA will enhance our ability to continue to be the market leader in mounting solutions," said Ken Flood, Vice President of Sales for Warne.

Started in Australia in 1947, Warne quickly gained a reputation for their precision rifle barrels, mostly milled in .22 and .25 calibers. The rifle barrel business was sold off in 1966 when the founders moved to Portland and started the optics accessories business in 1968.

All of the new Vapor mounting system is made from 6061 T6 aluminum and includes Warne's lifetime warranty. The new system is lightweight and durable and easy to mount thanks for hex key mountings on the side of the mounting bracket and large rings that offer easy handling that allow a scope to slide in with minimal effort.
