SIG Sauer has restyled its line of legendary P226 XSeries pistols, enhancing modularity and giving competitors the ability to set up the gun however they desire.

Four versions of the XFive series allow users to choose the pistol that more closely matches their respective shooting disciplines. Entry, Classic, Match and Super Match models offer ever-increasing customizations and features.

"For years, the P226 X-Five and X-Six models have been the choice of the world's elite competitors," said Jeff Creamer, SIG Sauer Director of Product Management. "We've taken that legacy of accuracy and reliability and brought the modularity to help competitors tune their pistol to the demands of their sport."

The XFive Entry is a single-action only (SAO) variant, designed for those looking to step up from a production pistol. The extended sight radius and crisp trigger help competitors deliver quick and accurate shots.

-       5" barrel
-       Interchangeable fixed rear sight
-       Stainless frame and slide
-       M1913 Picatinny rail
-       Available in 9mm and .40

The XFive Classic keeps its distinctive appearance with fine walnut grips and standard magazine release. The Classic is the model that set the standard.

-        5" barrel
-       Aluminum jet funnel
-       Adjustable single-action only trigger
-       Adjustable micrometer sights
-       Stainless steel frame and slide
-       M1913 Picatinny rail
-       Available in 9mm and .40

The XFive Match series was built from the ground up for sport shooting. Black laminated wood grips and an extended magazine catch deliver utility as well as a distinctive appearance. Also available is an XShort version.

-       4" barrel (XShort); 5" barrel (XFive)
-       Skeletonized, fully adjustable single-action only trigger
-       Aluminum jet funnel
-       Adjustable micrometer sights
-       M1913 Picatinny rail
-       Available in 9mm and .40

The pinnacle of the XSeries is the Super Match. This finely tuned competition pistol has all the features top professionals seek and none of the waste. Available in XFive and XSix™ configurations, the Super Match is the choice for serious competitors who demand the most of their equipment.

-       5" barrel (XFive) and 6" barrel (XSix) barrel lengths
-       Fully adjustable single-action only straight trigger
-       Aluminum jet funnel
-       Adjustable micrometer sights
-       M1913 Picatinny rail

Additionally, the SIG Sauer Mastershop offers a number of customizable options to the XSeries, allowing competitors to build the perfect pistol for their discipline, from USPSA to PPC to Bianchi. Bridge mounts for red dots, barrel weights, grip panels, compensators, and sight options are just a few of the modular options to choose from.
