The Winchester name is known throughout the world for producing outstanding ammunition used by millions and millions of gun owners, and now the new USA Ready line of USA Ready line of ammunition and components is designed to provide competition and target shooters with consistently superior performance.

Winchester USA Ready products are a new options for competitors and target shooters who are looking for premium performance and components for their ammunition. Flat nose bullets are used in the pistol rounds and components, and open tip bullets are used in the rifle rounds and components for optimum accuracy. In addition to this, all USA Ready primers are match-grade for improved consistency and results.

Because competition shooters need reliable, repeatable performance, Winchester includes a unique lot code on each package in the USA Ready line that customers can use to look up the factory testing results for their specific lot of ammunition at winchester.com/usareadyinfo.

The initial ammunition offerings in the USA Ready line for 2019 include .223 Rem., 300 Blackout, .308 Win., 6.5 Creedmoor, .45 ACP, .40 S&W and 9 mm. Handgun rounds are loaded with FMJ-Flat Nose projectiles, while all the rifle rounds are loaded with open-tip mach rounds. Each .223 Rem., 300 Blackout, .308 Win. and 6.5 Creedmoor rounds weight 62 grains, 125 grains, 168 grains and 125 grains, respectively. Pistol-caliber rounds range in weight from 115-grain 9 mm up to 230-grain .45 ACP.
