Trijicon RMR sight set

Trijicon Inc, is bringing a practical package to market for those interested in outfitting their Glock or SIG handguns with a slide-mounted red dot and backup iron sights. This new kit ships with both a Trijicon RMR electronic red-dot sight and the accompanying tall suppressor-height Trijicon “Bright and Tough” back up iron sights that scores of shooters prefer to pair up with their slide mounted RMR red dot sight.

Built with a sturdy 7075-T6 aluminum body and utilizing a single CR 2032 battery that can last up to four years at the 50-percent brightness setting, the Trijicon RMR Type 2 Adjustable LED electronic red dot sight module is an industry standard in this specific product category. Its diminutive size, its resiliency, and its weight of only a little more than one ounce makes the Trijicon RMR optic arguably one of the trailblazers that helped bring slide mounted dot pistol shooting to the masses over the past decade. The RMR Type 2 gives you the option of choosing a 3.25- or 6.5-MOA dot, depending on your needs. This sight also features an automatic brightness function and eight total brightness settings: two which are suitable for use with night vision devices and one ‘super bright’ setting.

Trijicon’s Bright and Tough Suppressor iron sights were engineered to work hand in hand with the RMR electronic red dot sight as their height specifically interfaces with the RMR’s lens to form a perfect co-witness. Both the front and the rear sight include tritium phosphor lamps to provide an instantly visible sight picture in low light or darker conditions. The white painted rings around the enclosed tritium phosphor vials enhance a shooter’s ability to also achieve that quick sight picture in day time brightness conditions.
