Timney Triggers

Timney Triggers and Remington Arms, two giant names in the American gun industry, are partnering up for a new and historic collaboration.

Moving forward, all new Remington Model 700 bolt action rifles will ship with Timney triggers by default from the factory. Remington 700 Alpha 1 and Police rifles will be to be decked out with Timney’s Elite Hunter triggers, while all other current Remington 700 models will feature the new Timney Impact Remington 700 unit.

While Timney’s Elite Hunter triggers are already known for the type of accuracy they can aid Remington 700 rifles with, the company's Impact Remington 700 units are a brand-new product. These new fully drop-in units are the result of Timney Triggers responding to designing a cost-effective entry-level trigger module that could act as a direct replacement for standard Remington 700 triggers without skimping on the quality for which Timney is known. On top of this, all Impact Remington 700 triggers are made without MIM (metal injection molding), rolled or stamped parts–all components and are still manufactured from billet steel and then hand-assembled, tested and calibrated.

Timney Triggers Impact Remington 700 Features:

  • Factory set non-adjustable trigger pull weight of 3 to 4 pounds
  • Anodized aluminum housing
  • Billet steel components
  • A2 tool steel sear with carbonitride finish
  • Tool steel trigger shoe with black oxide finish
  • Direct drop in part, no gunsmithing required
  • $124.99 MSRP

Remington’s Model 700 bolt action rifle has been around since 1962 and has been wildly popular as a standard or magnum length rifle. Over the years, it has been chambered in virtually all centerfire rifle cartridges. In addition, its success and popularity has made these rifles the standard benchmarks that all other modern bolt actions are compared with.
