The SIG Sauer Electro Optics division has just launched another enclosed-emitter red-dot sight, the new Romeo-X SIG LOC Compact. This new red-dot sight is meant to be compatible with pistols like the SIG P365 series with thinner slides. The Romeo-X SIG LOC Compact has roots to the development of the SIG Sauer Romeo M17 pistol mounted reflex sight, and like its bigger brother, was created around providing a a low-profile, but tough connection between the bottom of the sight and the top of the correspond pistol-slide surface. As such, the new Romeo-X SIG LOC Compact has five different points of contact between the slide and the optic in order to eliminate zero shift that may occur from repeated shock as the by-product of recoil or harsh impacts. In addition to a more secure fit between red-dot sight and the slide, the uniquely shaped base of the Romeo-X SIG LOC Compact allows for the unit to have a longer focal length that helps reduce both parallax and distortion issues.

SIG Sauer Electro Optics Romeo-X SIG LOC Compact Features:

  • Inspired by the mil-spec Romeo M17 duty-grade red-dot sight
  • Establishes five total points of contact to create a strong lock to the slide
  • Longer focal length to dramatically reduce parallax and create a crisp reticle
  • 7075 aluminum housing with a fully enclosed and sealed optical system
  • Distortion-free aspherical glass lens
  • MOTAC (Motion Activated Illumination)
  • Industry’s lowest deck height for standard-height iron sight co-witness
  • Available Reticles: 3-MOA red dot, 6-MOA red dot or circle/dot
  • 20,000-hour battery life with side load battery
  • 15 illumination settings including three dedicated night vision
  • Assembled in USA
