Mossberg recently expanded its MC2 pistol lineup with the addition of the MC2sc, a micro-compact 9 mm that utilizes 11- or 14-round magazines. The MC2sc has a slender, compact profile and comes with a milled slide for an optics-ready configuration.

The slide on the MC2sc is 416 stainless steel with a black DLC finish. The slide features angled serrations to help with slide manipulation, while the optics-ready configuration allows for multiple red-dot sight options. The handgun comes with dovetail mounted sights, which are low profile and feature a snag-free, white, three-dot style. An alternate option is to purchase an MC2sc with TruGlo Tritium Pro night sights.

The MC2sc also comes with easy takedown components, with the standout feature that you don't have to pull the trigger to initiate takedown. Frames on the MC2sc are high-tensile strength, glass reinforced polymer with aggressive grip texturing and palm swells. This gives shooters a firm grip under a variety of conditions and with varying hand sizes.

MC2sc Features:

  • Caliber: 9 mm
  • Frame: Micro-compact
  • Capacity: 11+1 or 14+1 rounds
  • Safety: Integrated trigger blade safety
  • Sights: White three-dot, optics-ready
  • Twist: 1:16 inches RH twist
  • Frame: Matte black
  • Barrel: 416 stainless steel, DLC
  • Slide: 416 stainless, DLC
  • Length: 6.25 inches
  • Weight: 19.5 ounces (unloaded)

MSRP on the new MC2sc is $556. For more information, check out Mossberg.com
