Leupold & Stevens, Inc. has added a new sunglasses frame style to the outdoor Performance Eyewear product line. The new DeSoto series can be had with various frame, lens and color combinations, and like the rest of in Leupold’sPerformance Eyewear catalog, all DeSoto sunglasses are built from lightweight and ballistic rated materials that include scratch resistant polarized lenses by default. In addition to this, these lenses share the same clarity that Leupold’s glass is famous for, along with that same degree of durability and ruggedness.

DeSoto sunglasses frames count on a modern, sleek and contemporary design that looks good both in the field or around town. The frame is designed with a no-slip bridge that includes comfortable rubber pads. This means the Leupold DeSoto frames and temples can have a low profile while not being too delicate. These the arms of these glasses are thin to not clash with over the ear earmuffs or other headgear. At the same time, the surface area of the lenses are oversized enough to fully protect the wearer's eyes from the elements, especially harmful UV rays. The scratch-resistant polarized lenses found on any pair of Leupold DeSoto sunglasses are also shatterproof and can be used for a variety of activities besides fishing and shooting.

“Just like every product line we build, the Performance Eyewear line will outperform the competition under the harshest conditions,” said Zach Bird, Product Line Manager for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “The DeSoto brings that performance to an exciting new style that’ll be at home with hunters, anglers, and adventurers alike.”
