Building on and expanding its Concealed Carry Lite holster collection, Galco Gunleather announced the addition of a WalkAbout 2.0 model to its line at the end of 2018. This new holster model is built specifically for revolver fans and incorporates a speedloader carrier, so users always have a reload on-hand.

Constructed from premium, center-cut steer hide, the Galco WalkAbout 2.0 features an open-top design that's reinforced with a metal band located around the mouth of the holster. Since the WalkAbout is an inside-the-waistband carry rig, this metal reinforcement keeps the mouth open to facilitate easy reholstering. Attached to the holster body is a single-clip mounting point, compatible with two different clip designs.

The first clip available from Galco is the UniClip, a hooked design that wraps over a gun belt and can also be used to secure the holster to pants without a belt, if needed. The other option is the company's Ultimate Stealth clip, designed to attach to the waistband underneath the belt, providing added stealth and discreet carry capabilities to this rig. When using the UniClip, wearers are limited to a belt width of 1.5 inches, but the innovative Ultimate Stealth clip can be used with any size gun belt.

Regardless of which clip design is incorporated into the holster, the Galco WalkAbout 2.0 can be adjusted for cant. This allows the rig to be used in a number of carry positions, ranging from appendix, strong-side or cross-draw. Both belt-clip attachments are tuckable, allowing users to easily conceal a holstered revolver below a cover garment. The attached speedloader carrier is located on the leading edge of the holster and includes a snap closure that secures a loader into place until needed.

Galco's WalkAbout 2.0 holster is designed for most of today's small-frame revolvers, fitting popular options from Charter Arms, Kimber, Ruger, Smith & Wesson and Taurus. The suggested retail price on the holster is $53.
