Extar Glock magazine

Extar USA is now selling the EM9-18 magazine, an affordable aftermarket 9mm Glock magazine with the capacity to hold 18 9mm cartridges.

The EM9-18 magazine is compatible with full size double stack 9mm Glock models such as the Glock G17, G17L, G34 and Glock G45. In addition, it will also function with compact and subcompact double stack Glock models like the Glock G19 or Glock G26, though the magazines will protrude as they are longer than these models’ grips. Glock handgun feeding geometry for all of their double stack 9mm pistols is such that all “top halves” of their magazines are interchangeable, and the only thing that differs from magazine to magazine is the size and length of the magazine body itself. The popularity of double stack 9mm Glock handguns means that there are other firearms which also use the same pattern of 9mm double stack magazines to feed their actions. These firearms include Glock clones or derivatives as well as large format pistol caliber carbines that are gaining popularity in the action shooting sports as well as being used as a defensive firearm.

Extar used its expertise in materials science and manufacturing methodologies in order to craft an affordable yet highly reliable aftermarket magazine that meets or exceeds OEM factory magazine specifications.

EM9-18 9mm Glock Magazine Specifications:

  • 18 round capacity
  • Drop-free
  • Only one witness hole to protect ammunition column from unnecessary debris
  • Exceed rigidity of other aftermarket Glock magazines
  • Match OEM factory feed lip hardness and exceed those of Korean imports
  • Fully loaded magazine can be seated properly on a closed slide

The EM9-18 9mm magazine retails for starting price of $11.95 per unit. For additional information on this magazine or to explore other products sold by Extar USA, please visit their website at extarusa.com.
