Leather holsters don't have to be high-dollar, custom-crafted carry rigs for concealed-carry holders to enjoy their benefits. At least, that's the aim with the DeSantis Holsters Sof-Tuck, which has relaunched in 2019 with an all-new 2.0 model that enhances elements of this affordable holster.

Each DeSantis Sof-Tuck 2.0 holster features a leather exterior complete with a polyurethane-lined interior. This combination provides a slick, friction-free surface on the interior of the holster that allows for a fast, impediment-free draw. The leather exterior provides a comfortable, malleable surface that cushions the hard contours of a holstered pistol against the body, providing for a concealed-carry rig that can be carried all day without issue. The leather is cut away from the underside of the grip and trigger guard, providing room for users to obtain a solid firing grip before unholstering their gun.

At the top of the Sof-Tuck 2.0, consumers will find a reinforced holster mouth that allows reholstering without having to remove the holster from inside the waistband. Each Sof-Tuck holster attaches to the belt with a single C-Clip, and the clip can be re-mounted in one of two positions for ride height. The unit is attached to the holster body through the company's Tuckable 360 design, which provides a locking mechanism that allows for a customizable cant angle that won't shift during daily wear. Space between the C-clip and the holster body allows users to tuck in a shirt over their carry pistol, exposing only the C-clip to the outside world.

The DeSantis Sof-Tuck 2.0 is available with an all-black finish only and comes with different, semi form-fit sizes to accommodate a range of concealed-carry guns. Some of the pistol fits available include today's most-popular CCW guns, including the Glock G19 and G43, Smith & Wesson M&P Shield and J-frame revolvers, Ruger LCP II and the SIG Sauer P365. Other fits are available for guns ranging from full-size duty pistols to micro-size .380 ACP pocket guns. The suggested retail price on the new DeSantis Sof-Tuck 2.0 is $33.99.
