Breakthrough Clean brought its new Battle Ropes to the market to provide gun owners with an easy-to-use, effective cleaning tool designed specifically for their go-to model of firearm.

The new Breakthrough Clean Battle Ropes are constructed with an integral bronze bore brush that is paired up with a detachable nylon brush, providing enhanced bore-cleaning capabilities above other pull-through cleaning ropes on the market.

Each model of Battle Rope comes equipped with a threaded brass link that enables owners to remove the nylon bristle brush, facilitating easy cleaning of the rope itself. The excess weight located at the end of the rope also ensures that users can easily drop the rope end through the bore and pull it through easily.

Breakthrough Clean aimed to create a pull-through bore-cleaning product that performed well above similar products on the market. To that end, the company developed its Battle Ropes with a thicker construction than comparable cleaning ropes, ensuring that every spot inside your firearm's bore is scrubbed thoroughly to remove fouling and other harmful byproducts of shooting.

To further facilitate enhanced cleaning, the company offers its Battle Ropes in a variety of different caliber sizes, ensuring that gun owners can select a specific model that is purpose-built to clean their range, hunting or personal-defense gun of choice.

Caliber options for the Breakthrough Clean Battle Ropes are as follows: .22/.223, .243, .270, .30, .35/.38/9 mm, .40, .44/.45, 20 gauge and 12 gauge. The different Battle Rope models are also separated into pistol, rifle and shotgun variants, providing users with the right length for easy, thorough cleaning. Packaging is compact, measuring 8 inches x 4 inches x 2 inches, ensuring that owners have a small, secure storage solution for their cleaning implements. The complete package weighs in at 5.28 ounces.

The suggested retail price on the Breakthrough Clean Battle Ropes starts at $15.95.

Review: Smith & Wesson Shield Plus

In retrospect, Smith & Wesson had nobody to blame for the situation but themselves. The company didn’t invent the subcompact, lightweight, single-stack nine, of course. Walther and Beretta had preceded the original Shield to market by a few years with the PPS and the Nano, respectively, and Kahr had more or less created the niche back in the 1990s.
