B&T APC9 Limited

Brügger and Thomet USA is announcing the release of two new limited-release SBR (short barreled rifle) variants of its popular 9mm APC9K submachine gun family. Both of the new APC9 Limited variants are similar, though one has a 6.7 inch barrel while the other version has an 8.9 inch long barrel. Both of these premium APC9 variants ship from the factory configured as SBRs and require the appropriate paperwork from the ATF.

Brügger and Thomet APC9 Limited Specifications:

  • Caliber: 9 mm
  • Receiver: Fully ambidextrous aluminum with Type III hardcoat black anodization. Lower includes a flared magazine well and upper includes M-Lok slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o clock positions
  • Barrel Length: 6.7 inch or 8.9 inches long with a 1:10-inch twist rate
  • Muzzle: Tri-lug attachment system for suppressors and other muzzle devices
  • Stock: B&T MDT telescoping and folding stock with 3 cheek riser positions and QD sling cup sockets, rubberized butt pad
  • Trigger: Flat-face Elftmann tactical trigger
  • Weight: 5 pounds, 14 ounces

“The heart of the new APC9 Limited guns is our new fully ambidextrous aluminum lower receiver featuring a highly functional flared magazine well similar in size and shape to our popular jet-funnel accessory yet formed directly into the receiver” said Chris Mudgett, Vice President of Marketing at B&T USA. “We hit the sweet spot with the 8.9-inch variant with its longer slick fore-end and MBT stock; this combination makes for an extremely fast-handling, lightweight, ergonomic platform whose fit can be so dialed in, it feels like a natural extension.”

The Brügger and Thomet APC9 family is based off of the U.S. Army and Air Force’s APC9K submachine gun, known for its hydraulic recoil buffering system as well as a modular and functional design that has a non-serialized interchangeable lower receiver that can feed from different magazine patterns such as Glock, SIG Sauer P320 or B&T’s own proprietary design magazines.
