Signaling the aggressive expansion of their quality knife line, Remington® introduced five new models, which meet a range of needs, at the 2015 SHOT Show. This marks the start of their new partnership with Bear & Son Cutlery.

Added to Remington's Model 700™ Series is their new R11008 One-Hand Opener. This lockback has American walnut wood handles, made from authentic Model 700™ Remington® gun stock. It also features nickel silver bolsters, a lanyard hole and the signature "R" laser-etched into the handle.

Made of high carbon 440 stainless steel, the 2-3/4" modified drop-point blade has a satin finish. Closed, the one-hand lockback is a compact 3-7/8" and weighs 1.7 ounces. Locked open, it is 6-5/8" long. Made in the USA, the MSRP is $75.

The Big Game Skinner Set from their Sportsman® Series is sure to please hunters. This set consists of three knives, all fitting into a specially designed heavy-duty black nylon sheath with a belt loop. Each knife has a unique finger hole, so a safe and secure grip is maintained while working on your game.

The set comprises a caper, a skinner and a guthook. Blades and handles of all three are made of 420 stainless steel with a black oxidized coating. The caping knife is 6-1/2" long with a 2-3/8" cutting edge, and weighs 1.9 ounces. The skinner is 7-3/8" long with a 3" cutting edge, and weighs 2.7 ounces. The guthook is 7-1/4", has a 2-7/8" edge and weighs 2.8 ounces. A true price-performance package, the full set has an MSRP of only $40. Imported.

Another new addition to Remington® Sportsman® Series is the rugged F.A.S.T. 2.0 Medium Folder. This assisted opener has a 3-1/4 inch heavy-duty modified drop-point blade made of 440 stainless steel with a black oxidized coating.

Ergonomically shaped for a sure grip, the black handle is aircraft aluminum. Closed, the F.A.S.T. 2.0 is 4-1/4" and locked open it is 7-3/8". It weighs 3.7 ounces and features a low-riding metal pocket clip for easy carry. MSRP, $32. Imported.

Hunters also will appreciate Remington's new R11009 Caper with a 2-1/2" caping blade made of 440 stainless steel. It has a ridged thumb groove for ideal knife control. Overall it is 6-3/4" and weighs 2.4 ounces. The handle has the "R" etched in the same authentic American walnut wood used in Remington's Model 700 Series gun stock. It comes with a leather sheath and retails for $70. Made in USA.

Rounding out the new Remington knives unveiled at the SHOT Show is their R-51® Assisted Opening Folder. The Model R11600 has a 3-1/4" 440 stainless steel blade and the handle is black aluminum. Closed, it is 4-1/2" and weighs 4.3 ounces. MSRP is $50. Imported.
