German Precision Optics (GPO) is coming out with three new riflescopes to their premium optics line. The new Spectra 8X riflescope lineup is designed for the hunter who demands the very best. These scopes combine top-quality materials and meticulous attention to detail in the manufacturing process to produce riflescopes that are on par with some of the world's best scopes, but at an affordable price.

Some of the features you'll find on these scopes are a 30 mm main tube, proprietary GPObright high-transmission lens coating technology, iControl illumination technology, PASSIONdrop hydrophobic exterior lens coatings and a double HD glass objective lens. The 8X line includes the Spectra 1-8x24i, 2-16x44i and 2.5-20x50i models.

The 30 mm 1-8x24i is well-suited for the driven or dangerous game hunter. The scope has an extremely wide field of view and a daylight/low-light capable red dot that is powered by iCONTROL illumination. The G4i reticle makes for quick target acquisition and accurate shot placement, and the versatile 1-8X magnification range is great for hunting in thick cover, especially when you also find yourself needing to take a shot at extended distances.

Both the 2-16x44i and 2.5-20x50i models are well-suited to helping you succeed on challenging hunts during the harsh lighting conditions. The oversized objective lenses along with the GPObright multi-coatings ensure top-class light transmission and resolution, especially during the critical first and last moments of daylight. The low 2X magnification on the 2-16x44i version is excellent for hunting in heavy cover but can still increase magnification up to 16x if needed.

The Spectra riflescope modernizes the hunting turret systems for the shooting enthusiast, giving you a ballistic turret for easy dialing that also has a capped ballistic turret for protection from the elements and outdoor field. The low-profile knob that has easy-to-read dial numbers and the aluminum cap fits snugly over the top. The system has clockwise rotating centimeter click turrets with solid knurled knobs that are easy to grab in any hunting environment. A blank turret is also provided in every box for customization to other uses.

The new Spectra 8X line of riflescopes are built from a solid, one-piece dust-proof, waterproof, nitrogen-filled body that offers strength, durability and consistency. All Spectra 8X rifle scopes come with an instruction manual, cleaning cloth, bikini scope cover, CR2032 battery, and throw lever. MSRP for the SPECTRA lineup varies by model.
