MDT is adding the CZ 457 action as an option for their XRS Chassis System. The CZ 457 joins other rimfire actions for the XRS Chassis System such as the Savage Short Action, Tikka T3 Short Action, Howa 1500/Weatherby Vanguard Short Action, Remington Model 783 Short Action, and Remington 700 Short Action.

The XRS Chassis System is designed for shooters that want the fit and feel of a traditional shaped rifle stock with all the benefits of a modern precision rifle chassis system. Every XRS is built from a core of aircraft-grade aluminum that is full-length CNC machined and sports textured polymer panels for insulation from the elements. The precision aluminum bedding system ensures fit and function for maximum accuracy with any rifle action. The XRS also features a replaceable over-molded and textured grip system that includes both an angled grip and a vertical grip.

The XRS Chassis System is a popular performance upgrade for any factory rifle, and also makes an excellent foundation for a custom rifle build. At 3.9 pounds (depending on the inlet), the XRS is ideal for use with either hunting or target rifles and features an adjustable length of pull via spacers from 13.25 inches out to more than 15 inches. There is also a quick-adjust cheek piece on the chassis to easily adjust your cheek weld to match your scope height overbore.

The XRS accepts standard AICS-pattern magazines and also has an easy to manipulate ambidextrous magazine latch. The 12.12-inch-long forend of the chassis comes with built in M-Lok slots for accessory mounting or attaching ARCA or Picatinny rails for even more accessory options.

The MDT XRS Chassis System has an MSRP of $499.95, and more information on this product and other gear from MDT is available at mdttac.com.
