Carrying in a waist pack or fanny pack is an option for those times when other concealed carry options are not practical. Now Galco is introducing a new version of the extremely popular FasTrax PAC waistpack, which is designed specifically for compact pistols that are equipped with red-dot sights.

The FasTrax PAC has been a bestseller for Glaco since its introduction at SHOT Show 2020, providing a popular update to the tried and proven waist pack holster. The patent-pending FasTrax PAC is available in either gray/black or multi-cam black colors and is designed to blend with casual modern clothing styles.

Unlike other waist packs which require the user to dig deeply into the pack or tear it open to draw the handgun, the FasTrax PAC uses an innovative combination of a pivoting holster component and external activation cord. This system enables you to get your handgun into action much faster than with other waistpack designs.

Comfort is a key component to everyday carry, which is why the FasTrax PAC’s back panel is made of Galco’s Comfort Cloth. This soft and breathable adaptive performance mesh helps keep the pack comfortable against your body when worn all day long.

Convenience is also important in concealed carry. The FasTrax’s adjustable, stretchable, elasticized waist strap also helps make this pack easy to carry every day, and it also uses a Nexus buckle to quickly wrap it around your waist. The pack’s contemporary-styled front face has a zippered pocket for carrying common items such as spare ammunition, keys, wallet, phone or flashlight. There is also a helpful pass-through port on the front pocket that accommodates cables for earbuds or other devices.

MSRP for the FasTrax PAC waist holster is $89. For more information on this product or other gear from Galco, please visit galcogunleather.com.

What is the Greatest Defensive Skill?

You can say what you want to about your favorite defensive school or those advanced-fighting techniques you learned, but the greatest defensive skill that a person can develop is simply awareness. I will freely admit that developing effective awareness is anything but simple, but being able to spot trouble before it is close enough to get in your face will certainly save you from a lot of trouble and possibly even some pain and grief.
