Of all the AR-15-style shotguns now on the market, Typhoon Defense’s F12 may be the best—and now it comes with a 20-round magazine. Imagine reloading 20 rounds of 12-gauge in less than a second! That’s exactly what you can do with this shotgun, not to mention shoot all those rounds as quickly as you can pull the trigger.

The gas-piston operated semi-automatic shotgun features a remarkable machined key mod fore-end that shrouds a barrel that’s available in 18 to 24 inches. The barrel is threaded to accept the included choke tubes or Typhoon Defense’s innovative carbon-fiber shotgun silencer. I like the collapsible buttstock that is not your average cheap and uncomfortable CAR-15 style stock, but rather one that provides an adjustable comb piece so it will actually fit your cheek and mitigate recoil.

Oversize controls, including the bolt handle and mag release button make the F12 perfect for competition or home defense. Plus it’s got more rails than Grand Central Station for optics, lights and whiz-bangs. It’s available in 20 different styles and cerakote colors. Very notably, the company did a tremendous job with its packaging; the F12 comes with a host of accessories, such as a sling, choke tubes, spare magazine and several more accouterments that actually add value to this bad@$$ shotgun. MSRP: $1,049
