New for 2020: Magpul PC Backpacker Stock for Ruger PC Carbine

When Ruger introduced the PC Carbine two years ago, everyone was enamored by its portability and ease of use. The easy-shooting 9 mm rifle came apart for convenient backpack storage—a great option for everyday backpack carry or to add to a bugout bag. And thanks to an easy-install adaptor, the rifle accepted the highly popular Glock magazines.

For 2020, magazine company Magpul has added another great option for the Ruger PCC: a customizable ergonomic stock and handguard combination modeled after the original X-22 package for Ruger 10-22 Takedown model. Built from Magpul’s signature advanced polymer, the new PC Backpacker features M-Lok slots on both sides of the handguard for mounting lights and lasers and interchangeable cheek risers for maximum shooter customization. To minimize felt recoil and increase shooting stability, the buttpad features an anti-slip rubber end that is compatible with Magpul’s existing MOE SL Enhanced Rubber Buttpad.

Thoughtfully designed, the handguard on the removable barrel fits perfectly into the stock when taken down, thanks to a cutout that allows flush mounting into a compact package. The stock features a large storage compartment with top access ideally suited for spare mags. Need more storage? Stash small items in the water-resistant grip compartment.

Add a sling to the QD sling mounts near the end of the stock and in front of the mag well for even more transportation options. Thanks to Ruger’s long-held reputation for easy stock swaps, the Magpul PC Backpacker installs quickly onto the rifle using simple tools, with no gunsmithing required.

If you’re looking for a simple way to customize your Ruger PC Carbine without breaking the bank, the $149.95 PC Backpacker Stock is a great option.
