Holosun expanded its optics lineup in 2018 with the launch of several all-new "Elite" models, incorporating more features and functionality above the company's standard red-dot lineup. The new Holosun HE510C Elite reflex sight is loaded with a number of elements demanded by today's modern shooter.

The foundation of the Holosun HE510C Elite reflex sight is the company's innovative dual-power source. The Advanced Super Solar technology incorporated into the reflex optic pairs up a solar cell along with a traditional CR2032 battery. In bright sunlight, battery life is lengthened, since the optic can run off the energy provided by the solar cell. The system also incorporates Shake Awake technology to extend battery life, shutting the unit off after a period of inactivity and powering on once movement is detected. With all these systems working in tandem to prolong battery life, the optic can run continuously for up to 50,000 hours.

Unlike many other micro optics, the HE510C is built with a green reticle rather than red, enabling the optic to be seen in conditions where red reticles can get lost in the background. A push-button operating model allows users to choose between three reticles: a 65-MOA circle paired with a 2-MOA dot, a single 2-MOA dot or a standalone 65-MOA ring. Brightness settings can also be selected by the end user, with 10 different daylight and two night-vision options available.

Each Holosun HE510C Elite reflex sight is built to handle rough conditions without compromising the integrity of the optic. The protective hood is made from titanium alloy and is built to provide resistance to shock and impacts. The housing itself is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and features a quick-detach mounting mechanism that latches onto any standard Picatinny optics rail on your rifle or shotgun. The unit is certified to be IP67 waterproof and is adjustable for windage and elevation, with each adjustment screw providing 0.5-MOA adjustments per click. Total adjustment range provided on the optic is 50 MOA for both windage and elevation.

The overall size of the optic is 3.3 inches x 1.6 inches x 1.8 inches, and the total weight is 8.6 ounces. The suggested retail price on the Holosun HE510C Elite reflex sight is $388.22.
