With more than 25 years experience producing optics mounts for riflescopes, Warne Scope Mounts provides precision shooters with solid, dependable rings and bases that can be counted on at critical moments. However, adjustments and minor firearm fixes are often performed in the field, and the company offers its Warne Range Tool to shooters in need of the perfect tool to tackle any situation in the field.

The tool is made from a machined-aluminum handle that provides rigidity and weight-savings, while 12 different driver bits fold compactly into the handle. The handle is finished in a red anodized treatment that stands out among the materials in any range bag, allowing owners to put their hands on the tool quickly.

The overall design of the Range Tool is like many multi-tools on the market, with each driver bit folding out separately, allowing users to grab the entire tool for added leverage on stubborn bolts and screws. Each bit is machined from chrome-vanadium steel and includes Allen, Torx, Phillips and flat bits sized right to handle most adjustments on the market. The bits are sized in the following options:

  • Allen: 0.05, 1/16, 5/64, 3/32, 1/8 and 5/32-inch sizes
  • Torx: T10, T15 and T20
  • No. 2 Phillips head

In addition, the Warne Range Tool also includes a traditional flat-blade screwdriver and a pin remover that measures 0.10 inch in diameter. With these different bit sizes, Warne covers most of the popular screw and bolt sizes used in firearms and scope mounts on the market. The tools are also sized right to allow for easy optics adjustment in any situation.

With the addition of the Warne Range Tool to any field bag, hunters and shooters alike can avoid the disappointment of having to pack up because of loose equipment. The suggested retail price on the Range Tool is $19.99, enabling any avid gun owner to pick one up and toss it into a bag, where it'll be ready when needed.
