The new Halcyon suppressor from Advanced Armament Corp is designed to offer suppressor aficionados two different cans in one package, allowing them to save time and money on tax stamps and ATF approval processes.

The modular silencer uses the same design as the company's Ti-Rant 9M and Ti-Rant 45M suppressors, which can be disassembled easily without tools. The Halcyon uses this design to be disassembled and configured in both a full-size and a compact suppressor.

The suppressor is constructed from a serialized rear tube made from titanium, while the front tube is made from 7075-T6 aluminum. The end caps are made from stainless steel, and the entire suppressor is finished in an armor-black Cerakote finish. The interior baffles are constructed from titanium.

The AAC Halcyon suppressor is full-auto rated for use on pistols, rifles and submachine guns chambered in .22 LR. It can also be used on handguns chambered in 5.7x28 mm and other guns chambered in .22 WMR and .17 HMR.

The can weighs in at 6 ounces in its full-size configuration, which measures 5.28 inches long. Its compact configuration, measuring only 3.41 inches long, weighs in at 4.5 ounces. The suggested retail price on the AAC Halcyon suppressor is $449.99.
