WildEars, a company dedicated to the design of state-of-the-art hearing protection and enhancement for shooters and hunters, announced the addition of its new Tactical Series to the product lineup.

The Tactical Series hearing protection is designed for tactical shooters who require easy-to-carry hearing protection for working through tactical training courses. The technology also allows shooters the audible enhancement necessary to hear range masters and shot timers.

The hearing-protection aids use two separate digital programs that are packed with both digital hearing enhancement and protection, allowing shooters to converse normally without having to remove the WildEars. Other features of the units include improved sound quality, achieved by reducing circuit noise, as well as a protection system that prevents wax buildup.

The WildEars Tactical Series also features an adjustable volume that provides hearing amplification up to five times that of normal hearing. The aids are custom-fit to an individual shooter's ear and are color-coded for right and left units. The aids also feature an On/Off switch, and the company is updating its 2016 product line to include the new On/Off switch.

The suggested retail price of the new WildEars Tactical Series is $999.99.
