The unit is powered by two CR2025 lithium batteries that provide the unit with more than four hours of continuous runtime. Two batteries are included with the Lasergrips. In addition, Crimson Trace provides owners with free battery replacement through its Free Batteries for Life program.

The Crimson Trace Lasergrip also gives users the flexibility of adding the company's Lightguard to the front rail of the firearm, giving the gun both light and laser capabilities.
