The Heckler & Koch VP9 Grey joined the standard black and flat dark earth VP9 product offerings, giving consumers three different frame color options to choose from when buying their VP9 handgun.

"We continue to add to the VP family of handguns as a response to customer requests," said Michael Holley, HK-USA vice president for commercial sales and marketing. "The VP Series is one of HK's most successful handguns and continues to grow in popularity with its 'precise pull' trigger, recognized as industry-leading."

According to the company, the new VP9 Grey frame is manufactured with special colorants added during the molding process. This means that the frame does not fade, chip or react to chemicals. The grey frame models are made at the company's facility in Oberndorf, Germany.

The VP9 pistol, introduced in 2014, is a short-recoil-operated handgun chambered in 9 mm. The gun is 7.34 inches long and 5.41 inches high with a width of 1.32 inches. The polygonal-rifled barrel is 4.09 inches in length. Total weight with an empty magazine is 25.56 ounces. Magazine capacity of the VP9 is 15+1 rounds, and the gun features a trigger pull weight of 5.4 pounds. Suggested retail price on the H&K VP9 with three magazines is $819.
