The Zhukov AK handguard brings a larger area for M-LOK attachment and a full-length aluminum chassis for strength and rigidity. M-LOK attachment slots for rails, grips or light mounts are located at the three-, six- and 12-o’clock positions in a manner similar to the AR-15 handguards.
Minor modification of the rifle is required, as the handguard retainer needs to be removed before the Zhukov AK handguard can be attached. Four screws hold the handguard in place in conjunction with aluminum barrel clamps for a secure, solid fit.
