When it comes to carrying a handgun all day long, good gear makes all the difference. Using a "one size fits most" holster on a $10 dress belt is a recipe for a less-than-stellar experience with pretty much any pistol, let alone a full-size duty gun.

Dedicated gear, like the Galco Side Snap Scabbard Gen2, allows weight distribution across a large area of the belt along with easy-on/easy-off capability thanks to the snaps. In a pinch, the holster can be removed from the belt (or added to it) without having to remove the belt itself.

The Side Snap Scabbard has an open top design with a reinforced mouth for stability. A raised sweat guard keeps the slide off the body, and the holster comes with a slight forward cant for rapid presentation. Snaps can accommodate belts up to 1.5 inches wide.

MSRP: $129.95. Available for right- and left- hand for a wide variety of popular handguns.
