Much like the AR-15 Magazine Case we posted last week, Blackhawk's Pistol Magazine case is designed for rapid, simple deployment. The rugged case is adjustable for cant and can accommodate single- or double-stack magazines.

The Magazine case attaches to the belt in the same manner as the AR-15 case: Push the buttons on both sides of the case to adjust to the belt (1.5 inches to 2.25 inches wide), then hook the case over the top of the belt and push the bottom clip into place, locking with an audible click. Removing is just as simple: press the button to release the bottom clip and pull straight down.

In the field, the spring held a double-stack Beretta M9 magazine quite firmly, requiring a bit of a firm grip to release. While this might have taken an extra fraction of a second to release, it was greatly appreciated when transitioning between targets and distances, as the magazines were held securely in place despite my best attempts to dislodge them (mostly through clumsiness and barging around obstacles...)

MSRP: $40.95.
