For magazine-fed rifles in 7.62 NATO, finding magazines that will stand up to rough-and-tumble life can be challenging. Fortunately, there are options like the Lancer Systems Advanced Warfighter magazines available.
This lightweight polymer magazine has steel feed lips that wrap around the magazine to increase stiffness and reliability. A drain lock in the floor plate allows the magazine to be configured for either water-borne or dusty conditions.
The L7AWM is designed to work in multiple weapon systems–SR-25, DPMS 308, SIG 716, LM308, LaRue OBR and Robinson XCR. They are not compatible with AR-10, SCAR17 or HK417.
Shown are the 20-round magazines, but 5- and 10-round versions are also available in translucent and opaque. L7AWM 25-round magazine is predicted for release in late spring 2015.
