While there are lots of aftermarket stocks for the defensive shotgun out there, most address a specific perceived shortcoming of the shotgun. Folding or adjustable stocks assist with storage or fit, some add a pistol grip for greater control and others add extra padding for recoil management.

Mesa Tactical's Urbino Tactical Stock System brings modularity to the defensive shotgun in a simple, easy-to-install manner. There's a firm pistol grip to address the control aspect, there's plenty of sling attachment points, optional spacers allow length-of-pull to be tailored to the individual shooter, additional buttpads can be attached for recoil mitigation and there's even an optional cheekpiece for better sighting and detail work.

The Urbino series is available for many popular defensive shotguns like the Remington 870, Mossberg 500 and the Benelli M1. Shotshell carriers can be attached directly to the stock, and perhaps best of all, the stocks are made to be drop-in, no gunsmithing required. All Mesa Tactical stocks are made in the U.S. and come with a lifetime warranty.

MSRP: Starting at $135 (depends on system and accessories).
