I've been a fan of 5.11 Tactical's line of tactical pants for a long while. I've owned several pairs of the company's now-defunct Covert Tactical pants for about five years now (bring the line back, please!) and have been very impressed with how the pants carry gear and hold up to regular wear.

The Stryke pant is 5.11 Tactical's newest line of multipurpose attire, crafted from the company's proprietary 5.11Flex-Tac fabric for long life and durability. Pockets and other stress points are reinforced to stand up to heavy, long-term use, and the fabric itself is treated with Teflon for stain resistance and ease of cleaning.

Having owned a few pairs of 5.11 Tactical pants, some for many years now, I can attest to the value of the extra features. The reinforced pockets, like edges where a pocketknife or flashlight might rest, do not fray like jean pockets will over time, and there are all kinds of places to stash needed EDC gear.

The Stryke pant looks to carry this fine tradition forward for 5.11 Tactical. MSRP: $70.99.
