Xtreme Precision's AR-15 takedown pins are designed for easier takedown and reassembly versus using traditional mil-spec takedown pins. The company's pins come in two different configurations to allow more manipulation.

The first kit offered by the company is the EZ Push Front and Rear Low Head takedown pins, which feature extended pins that protrude from the left side of the receiver in order to facilitate easy disassembly. The low head pins are CNC machined to mil-spec tolerances and feature a hardened, parkerized finish. The low head pins are compatible with AR ambidextrous safeties.

The other option offered by Xtreme Precision is the AR-15 Extended Pivot and Takedown pin set. These pins feature the same .25-inch increase in pin length. However, these pins also feature a larger head to allow for better manipulation during the takedown and reassembly process.

Both kits come with a set of takedown pin springs and detents, and they also include an assembly tool. Suggested retail price on both options is $16.99.
