A great post from C.J. Chivers, who is the only reason to ever visit The New York Times website, on firearms recently liberated from successfully suppressed Taliban. Chivers has covered this topic before, as have we, but there is some interesting new stuff here, including the fact that no .303 British ammunition has been recovered. Makes that Enfield quite useless.
