Smoking Summer Deals

Firearm manufacturers are turning up the heat this summer with a long list of special deals for enthusiasts. The offers are making it tough for gun owners to resist hitting the firing line, even when the mercury soars and humidity swims.

Smith & Wesson

Smith & Wesson’s Summer Freedom Days promotion includes three free magazines with the purchase of qualifying concealed-carry Smith & Wesson pistols. The special deal applies to new guns purchased between July 1, 2023, and Aug. 31, 2023.

The M&P Shield 1.0 and 2.0, M&P Shield Plus, M&P Shield EZ, S&W Equalizer, S&W CSX and M&P Bodyguard 380 are included. The value of the free-magazine promotion runs from $84 up to $168. Full details and rebate forms are available online.

Take home a new Kel-Tec Sub2000 before March 1, 2024, and there could be a $100 check in your future. That’s plenty of time to save up for the versatile pistol-caliber carbine.

The rebate began March 1, 2023, so if you bought one in the past few months you might still qualify. Full details and rebate form are here.

Purchase a CZ Scorpion 3+, CZ 600 Alpha bolt-action rifle or the right shotgun offered by the company—before Sept. 30, 2023—and you could claim a rebate worth up to $100.

Walther’s special rimfire promotion ends July 31. New owners of select rimfires from the company qualify to receive Leupold Payload performance eyewear—MSRP $189—ideal for the range and on the streets. You can find full details here.

Purchase a Heckler & Koch P2000 July 1, 2023, and Aug. 31, 2023, and you qualify for a $200 rebate good on the company’s webstore for magazines. Details are here

Take ownership of a new Kriss Vector from May 28, 2023, to Aug. 31, 2023, and the company will issue a $100 credit to use on its online store for purchasing magazines.

Winchester knows you need ammo for those new guns, too. It’s offering a special promotion until Sept. 30, 2023, with 20 percent off eligible hunting rifle brands.

Online ammunition retailer Widener’s is also running a special on cartridges and shotshells, regardless of make. It’s tailored for competitive shooters, although anyone can get $35 off on an order of $400 or more. Visit the Widener’s website and use code 3-GUN-35 at checkout.

Crimson Trace

And those new guns need lights, lasers, sights and scopes, so Crimson Trace’s promotion, which runs until July 31, 2023, it a timely one. Rebates the firm is offering range from $25 to $100 and escalate with the value of your purchase.
