SIG Sauer .38 Super +P JHP Ammunition

For those that compete with a particular handgun, the idea of carrying a similar model makes a lot of sense. We covered the .38 Super FMJ available from SIG Sauer ammo earlier, but there's also a self-defense-oriented JHP available.

With the same bullet weight and similar handling characteristics, the SIG Sauer .38 Super +P JHP utilizes SIG's patented V-Crown hollow point and coated case for superior feeding. Offering +P performance, the .38 Super is designed for maximum weight retention and expansion, and uses a low-flash propellant to minimize muzzle flash.

SIG also offers a Traditional Match Elite Stainless 1911 in .38 Super, so this is a natural defensive and target  combination.
