One of the advantages of modern, polymer pistols over the 1911 platform is that rails are plentiful on the polymer pistols. More 1911 manufacturers are starting to offer models with accessory rails molded into the dustcover, but for many 1911 owners, being able to add a weaponlight or laser is easier said that done.

Enter Recover Tactical's CC3 Grip. This simple yet functional accessory for the 1911 installs in minutes, requiring little more than the removal of the existing grips to install. Replace the grip screws, tighten the two frame screws on the CC3, and your Government model 1911 is now capable of adding a light, laser or both. No modification to your favorite 1911 needs to be made, and the pistol can be returned to original just as easily. The CC3 adds only 2.2 ounces to the overall weight of the firearm, and is compatible with ambidextrous safeties.Three different colors are available: Black, OD Green, and Desert Sand. It's a personal preference matter, really, but a stainless 1911 should have the black grips, whereas a blued or parkerized 1911 could utilize either the green or the tan. MSRP for the CC3 is $49.95.
