Remington 700 accessories

1. Maintaining many of the features of its Pro 700, the Magpul Pro 700 Lite SA Stock combines the company’s PRS offering with a Pro 700 chassis fore-end, creating a product better suited for long-range applications. Weighing a pound less than its predecessor, it offers .8 inch of comb-height adjustment and 1.4 inches of length-of-pull adjustment range. The low-profile rubber buttpad is adjustable for height and cant. M-Lok slots span the fore-end, and the stock can be configured for left- or right-handed use. It’s available for either long or short actions and colors include black, FDE and OD green. MSRP: $599.95; magpul.com

2. Beartooth Products’ Rifle Comb Raising Kit 2.0 includes a heavy-duty neoprene sleeve and five high-density foam inserts of varying sizes (.125 inch up to 1.5-plus inches) without the need for straps or pesky hook-and-loop fasteners. Use just one or a combination of inserts to help you gain a positive and consistent cheek weld. Kits are available for rifles and shotguns. Choose from black, walnut brown and steel gray. MSRP: $27.99; beartooth-products.com

3. Timney’s Remington 700 HIT Trigger boasts new geometry and a new Sear Engagement Adjustment Lock design (SEAL’d), which ensures a user-friendly experience and is adjustable for pull weight and overtravel, but is still delicate enough to be set to a pull weight anywhere from 8 ounces to 2 pounds. It is machined using state-of-the-art technology, without metal injection molding or stamped-metal parts. The sear and trigger shoe are precision-machined, heat treated to 56 Rockwell hardness and include a black-oxide coating with an NP-3 plated sear for maximum lubricity. MSRP: $255.99; timneytriggers.com

4. ProMag Industries’ Archangel Short Action Type D Magazine is designed to work only with the company’s popular line of Precision Elite stocks. It is constructed from high-strength, carbon fiber and glass-reinforced black polymer for enhanced durability. An injection-molded follower ensures smooth feeding, while the heat-treated chrome-silicone spring allows for long-term use and storage without losing tension. Available calibers include .243 Win., .308 Win. and 7 mm-08. MSRP: $25.99; promagindustries.com

5. Midwest Industries’ Remington 700 Short Action Rail is compatible with right- or left-handed actions and sports a MIL-STD 1913 rail spanning the full length of the action. It, along with the rail’s zero-MOA cant, give shooters welcome flexibility when mounting optics and other accessories. Factory mounting holes and included hardware make installation easy, while hardcoat anodizing provides a long-lasting and durable finish. MSRP: $50.95; midwestindustriesinc.com
