PolyCase Ammunition introduced the company's innovative line of injection-molded, copper-and-polymer bullet-loaded ammunition last month, and one of the offerings made its way to the 'Desk.

PolyCase Inceptor 74-grain ARX 9 mm ammunition claims a whopping 1,475 fps from the 74-grain bullet along with 357 ft./lbs. of energy. Impressive numbers for a bullet design that, technically, isn't a hollowpoint construction (meaning that even in certain localities that forbid such designs, these projectiles are allowed).

PolyCase claims that the ARX design induces lateral force dispersion to increase the energy transfer upon hitting the target. The engineering involves hydrodynamic forces that reduce the possibility of overpenetration while remaining unaffected by clothing choices or other factors which affect hollowpoint ammunition.

MSRP: $29.99.
