Consumers in the market for an affordable concealed-carry pistol now have a new option in the form of the Taurus G2S Stainless. With this addition, Taurus USA provides a number of options in its compact, striker-fired, polymer-framed pistol lineup, giving consumers the choice of carbon-steel or stainless-steel models in either double-stack or single-stack configurations.

Many features are shared between the Taurus G2S and G2C pistol models, with each gun offered with similar forward-facing slide serrations, adjustable three-dot sights, frame texturing and striker-fired trigger. With all these elements in common, consumers can select the pistol size that's right for their everyday-carry setup without compromising or weighing different actions or designs in their decision.

While the Taurus G2C features a thicker, double-stack design, the G2S Stainless is equipped with a single-stack magazine that features a magazine capacity of six rounds with a flush-fit mag. This means that the wideth of the gun measures in at only 1.1 inches and the overall height is 4.8 inches, providing a sub-compact platform that can be easily concealed under everyday clothing. With the reduced capacity compared to its double-stack sibling, the Taurus G2S weighs in at only 20.25 ounces when fully loaded, offering an easier carry option that can be comfortably toted all day long.

Each Taurus G2S can be had in either 9 mm or .40 S&W, like the double-stack G2S model, and the gun is equipped with a single-action style trigger complete with restrike capability. Factory models are equipped with trigger-pull weights ranging from 5-9 pounds, and each pistol is equipped with a strong-side manual safety. The overall length of the gun is 6.25 inches and barrel length measures 3.25 inches. A Picatinny accessory rail on the frame allows for the addition of lights and lasers, and the gun ships with two magazines. The suggested retail price on the Taurus G2S Stainless is $332.82.
