The all-new .300 BLK Springfield Armory Saint AR-15 pistol is purpose-built to harness the capabilities of this popular cartridge in a compact system built on the company's upper and lower receiver platform forged from 7075-T6 aluminum. The receiver includes Springfield's unique Accu-Tite system that minimizes rattling and movement caused by space between the two receiver components.
Paired with the receiver is a 9-inch barrel machined from chrome-moly vanadium steel, rifled with a 1:7-inch twist rate and topped with an A2 flash hider, providing the ideal compact platform for close-quarters work. The barrel is finished with a Melonite treatment, which hardens the surface of the metal to provide increased corrosion resistance without the potential tolerance issues that arise from chrome-plating. The overall length of the gun is 27.75 inches long and weighs just 5.9 pounds.
At the other end of the Springfield Armory Saint pistol in .300 BLK is a pistol-stabilizing SBX-K brace from SB Tactical. The brace provides two flexible wings along with a hook-and-loop strap that provides extra stability when fixed to a users' forearm. Surrounding the barrel is the company's patent-pending, M-Lok-compatible handguard, which attaches to the receiver using a four-point attachment system that anchors onto the barrel nut.
