Enthusiasts who take home a new Mossberg MC1sc (subcompact) 9 mm pistol before April 1, 2020, could receive a free DeSantis Slim Tuk IWB holster. The limited-time offer is for qualifying purchases made between Nov. 15, 2019, and March 31, 2020, with redemption postmarked or submitted online by April 30, 2020. Value of the DeSantis Slim-Tuk holster is $39.99. The offer applies to stock on hand only and no rain checks are available—facts worth noting with the heavy holiday shopping season launching on Black Friday.

Mossberg introduced the MC1sc pistol earlier this year in celebration of the company’s 100th anniversary. The handgun encompasses three years of research and development by the company, and combines superior ergonomics, innovation and engineering expertise.

Shooting Illustrated’s Jay Grazio had a chance to test and review one in March. “If you’re looking for a subcompact 9 mm pistol, there’s a lot going right for the new MC1sc,” He wrote.  “Mossberg’s re-entry in the concealable-handgun market is poised for success, and offers another solid choice for those looking for a self-defense pistol.”

The subcompacts feature a stainless-steel slide (bead-blasted or DLC coated) over a matte-black polymer, glass-reinforced frame and have aggressive multi-angle serrations. They are equipped with dovetail-mounted, low-profile white 3-dot sights and a 3.4-inch barrel.
