We covered the full-size LaserLyte Training Tyme pistol a few weeks ago, an all-inclusive training handgun that's completely inert and safe for training anywhere. But what if you prefer to train with a handgun similar in size to the one you carry? You can work on perfecting your draw and fire time with a trainer the same size as your carry handgun.

LaserLyte's Trigger Tyme Laser Compact addresses the need for a training pistol measuring the same as most carry firearms. The Compact has all the same technological advances as the full size pistol, with the same integral laser system that provides the laser training and the same trigger and trigger pull. It's approximately the same size as a Glock 42, so it should fit in most holsters for compact firearms (tested and fit around the office: Smith & Wesson Shield holster, Springfield Armory XD subcompact holster and Smith & Wesson M&P22 Compact holster. All fit just fine, with trigger guard covered).

Trigger pull weight is 5 pounds, 8 ounces, and the battery life is expected to span some 50,000 shots. The Compact weighs 15 ounces, comparable to most subcompact handguns available.

MSRP:$ 149.95.
