New from Ruger is a .45 ACP version of the original LC Carbine. The original LC Carbine was chambered in the small and fast 5.7x28mm. This new model retains all of the features of the gun, but is chambered in the larger and slower .45 ACP round. All the original features are still retained, including a threaded barrel and a reversible, side-folding, adjustable stock. The firearm is designed to work with 13-round Glock .45 ACP magazines, giving you a wide range of choices when it comes to feeding your firearm.

The stock on the LC Carbine folds and has an adjustable length of pull. The stock is reversible and can easily be replaced with AR-pattern stocks. The rear of the receiver has a Picatinny rail for maximum accessory compatibility. The receiver has a Type III Hard-Coat anodized finish, and inside is a unique bolt-over-barrel design to give the gun a small footprint. Speaking of small size, the magazine slides right into the grip to give excellent balance and control.

The .45 ACP version has a 16.25-inch, alloy-steel barrel with a .578-28 thread. The thread protector is easily removable, allowing for the attachment of popular muzzle accessories including muzzle brakes, flash hiders or a suppressor.

The LC Carbine in .45 ACP is rated for use with SAAMI-spec +P ammunition for more versatility and performance, and the proven Secure Action fire-control system has a protected internal hammer with a bladed-safety trigger. The trigger has a short, smooth pull, clean break and positive reset, and there is an ambidextrous manual safety, reversible charging handle, ergonomic bolt release and extended magazine release.

Up front, there is a CNC-milled handguard that is also Type III hard-coat anodized aluminum with M-Lok accessory attachment slots on seven sides. Multiple QD sling sockets allow you to attach a sling almost anywhere you’d like.

The folding sights are adjustable for windage and elevation and the full length Picatinny rail on top of the receiver lets you easily add your choice of optic to the gun. The LC Carbine includes one magazine, an M-Lok QD sling socket and hex wrenches for disassembly.
