The unit is constructed using 7075-T6 aluminum, which includes double recoil lugs designed to ensure that there is no possibility of movement once the unit is locked down onto the rail. In addition, the mount is designed to provide users with the ideal mounting height for AR-specific optics, as well as provide a forward-leaning cantilever that allows users to place the optic at the best possible point for optimum eye relief.
