Tippmann Arms, known for its .22 LR rimfire versions of the AR-15 carbine, is launching two new .22 LR integrally suppressed firearms to coincide with the the removal of the $200 NFA starting in January 2026. These new guns include the Tippmann Arms Elite ISS Rifle and Elite Bug Out Pistol.
“Tippmann Arms has always built rugged, reliable equipment for shooters who demand performance,” said Dennis Tippmann Jr. President of Tippmann Arms “With the expansion of suppressor freedom in the United States and the removal of unnecessary federal taxation, we’re excited to introduce purpose-built integrally suppressed firearms that deliver unmatched quiet operation without compromising the feel and usability of the AR platform.”
The Tippmann Arms Elite ISS Rifle and Elite Bug Out pistol are an offshoot of one of Tippmann’s principal products, the Tippmann Arms M4-22 Elite series. These rimfire rifles function and handle identically to true 5.56 NATO/.223 Rem. AR-15 pattern firearms. The charging handle, magazine insertion, safety selector and the rest of the manual of arms is congruent. In addition, their dimensions and mounting surfaces match as well. This means that end users are able to add AR-15-specific furniture in order to accessorize and customize their Tippmann M4-22 Elite.
The two new integrally suppressed options include the advantage of not having to worry about sourcing a separate dedicated rimfire suppressor, which helps drive the total overall cost down. Furthermore the Tippmann Arms Elite ISS Rifle and Elite Bug Out Pistol rely on a suppressor system that is tailor made and tuned specifically for them to ensure high reliability.
The Elite ISS Rifle and the Elite Bug Out ISS Pistol will begin shipping to dealers in early 2026, with pre-order opportunities beginning immediately to dealers in anticipation of the law change.
